[Car Drivers] Local Discoveries Romeleåsen 14.04.2019

Join us for a walk around Romelåsen and enjoy the warm and sunny April!

Romeleåsen rises from the surrounding plain with the highest point of 186 meters above sea level. It has a very dynamic landscape consisting of fields, stone walls, forests and pastures. In this Local Discovery, we are aiming for the northern part of Romeleåsen where we will climb the hillside and enter the deep forests. It will be a good occasion to enjoy the warm and sunny April in the forests, as well as to socialise with old and new friends!

SCHEDULE:

10:00, Meet at Eoshallen, have a cup of coffee and socialise before departure

ca 10:45, Arrival at the parking lot

ca 13:00 Lunch

ca 16.00, Return to starting point

16.30, Back in Lund

THINGS-TO-BRING:

- Raincoat and a jacket as Swedish weather is quite unpredictable.

- A good hiking shoes and face towel.

- Blanket to sit on

- Lunch and bottle of water or any non-alcoholic drink (Please note that we as organizers request this personally for the safety and well-being of all of us).

- If needed (for allergies etc), medicine and emergency kit, which you think can be good to bring with you.

The excursion is solely based on Car Sharing - drivers will register themselves to bring their own cars, and then empty seats will be filled by participants registered as passengers.

If all the passenger seats are taken, you will be asked to sign up on a waiting list. In that case you will be informed by e-mail as soon as we have been able to recruit more car drivers.

IMPORTANT: Due to an important number of no show-up, we ended up several times with people on the waiting list that could not join where we had free seats. Please before registering be sure that you will be able to come, and if you need to cancel, let us know as soon as possible at local.discoveries@eoscares.se. If you don't, you will prevent someone on the waiting list to benefit from your seat and to join us!
