Description

What is the connection between Inner and Outer Sustainability? In what way can your own interior peace have an effect on the climate changes of the world?

During the last few months, Eos Cares has been fortunate to receive two amazing speakers, that have led seminars within this field of combined Sustainability & Mindfulness. In June, Golo Pilz of Brahma Kumaris in India spoke about how his organisation has built India's largest solar plant, and in September, Swedish-Indian Rheumatologist Dr Rabinarayan Dash poetically described some direct effects that the climate changes will have on the human physical health. Independently of one another, they ended up in the same message - our way of breaking the habits that are destroying the world goes through building peace on an interior level, and finding out what is really important in life. And in doing so, we inspire others to take up the same journey.

At Eos Cares we are inspired to pick up on this message, and in this seminar we will rephrase the teachings of Golo and Dr Dash, and break these down into an exploration of the connection between Inner and Outer Sustainability. We will watch video of a similar presentation by Golo, practice a guided meditation and introduce you to the vast landscape of mindfulness. We are not experts like our previous lecturers, but we invite you to share a powerful message on the development of sustainability in life, and to discover for yourselves how to make use of it.

The seminar will be held by Axel Wallin and Madhuri Muralidhar, Project Leader and Sustainability & Mindfulness Manager of Eos Cares.
