Local Discoveries 19/11/2023 - Knivsås-Borelund, Prästaskogen, Trollskogen, and Skylle

Hello fellow adventurers! Now the autumn is settling down in Skåne, and it is more important than ever to get out in nature to get some fresh air and some light, as well as to socialise, to maintain good mental health! You can do all of it at once with us!

It’s time to put on your hiking shoes and join us on a trip this Sunday, 19th of November 2023, to the East of Lund. We will go through several forest areas: Knivsås-Borelund, Prästaskogen, Trollskogen and Skylle.

Detailed Information about the date and time:

🗓 DATE: Sunday, November 19th, 2023

🕦TIME: 11.25 - 16.10 (or later if you stay for fika)

🥾LENGTH: 9 km / ~3h hike

📍MEETING POINT:  Lund Central Train Station (Near Presbyrån, the one across ICA). https://goo.gl/maps/JvW3js6SfHT3vXuFA

📌 Schedule:

Our meeting point is Lund Central train station (Near Presbyrån, the one across ICA) at 11.25. We take the bus no160 at 11.43 for 30mins, until Knivsåsen.

Note: different bus stop on the way back. The path is not a loop.

IMPORTANT! No picnic this time, have lunch beforehand and bring some snacks with you. 

To come back to Lund, we'll take the bus from the other side of the forest: Skyllegården, takes 30mins to go back. Bus at 15.40, 16.40 and 17.40.

If you are interested, we can stay at Skylle Restaurant & Café for a fika after the hike (it closes at 18.00).

PLEASE, NOTE:

1. We have planned our schedule for the event, so COME ON TIME!

2. You are responsible for buying your own transportation tickets. 

Note: Group tickets (2 people) are cheaper, so you can ask someone to book a ticket with you when you meet at the meeting point.

3. Bring your own snacks and drinks.

4. Eos Cares and the organizers of this event are not responsible for any injury that can/may occur during the above specified date and time. Attendees are responsible for their own safety as well as their private belongings. You are solely responsible for your partition and discretion.

5. Children should only come if accompanied by their parents.

6. Check the weather in advance, bring a raincoat if you think it is necessary.

Note: it's going to be cold, wear warm clothes.
