Local Discoveries 22/10/2023 - Frostavallen

Are you up for a new hiking adventure this weekend? Do you wish to walk in the forest, be one with nature, relax and make new friends at the same time?

It’s time to put on your hiking shoes and join us on a trip this Sunday, 22nd of October 2023, to Frostavallen (near Höör).

Frostavallen recreation area has beech woodlands, glittering lakes and an open landscape. Beech woodland dominates the area.

🗓 DATE: Sunday, October 22nd, 2023

🕦TIME: 13.40 - 18.15

🥾LENGTH: 9 km / ~3h hike (Långstorpsslingan, green path)

📍MEETING POINT:  Lund Central Train Station (Near Presbyrån, across ICA). 

📌 Schedule:

Our meeting point is Lund Central train station (Near Presbyrån, across ICA) at 13.40. We take the train at 14:02 to Höör and then the bus 441 to Frostavallen, arrival 14:31

The path is a 10km loop.

No picnic this time, have lunch beforehand and bring some snacks with you.

To come back to Lund, we'll take the bus at 17.31 and arrives at Lund C at 18.13 (or the next bus 1 hour later).

PLEASE, NOTE:

1. We have planned our schedule for the event, so COME ON TIME!

2. You are responsible for buying your own transportation tickets. 

Note: Group tickets (2 people) are cheaper, so you can ask someone to book a ticket with you when you meet at the meeting point.

3. Bring your own snacks and drinks.

4. Eos Cares and the organizers of this event are not responsible for any injury that can/may occur during the above specified date and time. Attendees are responsible for their own safety as well as their private belongings. You are solely responsible for your partition and discretion.

5. Children should only come if accompanied by their parents.

6. Check the weather in advance, bring a raincoat if you think it is necessary.

Note: it's going to be cold, wear warm clothes (also for after while waiting for the bus).
