Are you up for a new hiking adventure this weekend? Do you wish to walk along the coast, while trying a section of the famous Skåneleden?

It’s time to put on your hiking shoes and join us on a trip this Saturday, 29th of July 2023, to Domsten (north of Helsingborg).

This trail follows one long, rocky cliff on the northwest coast of Skåne. Sculpted by powerful sea waves and currents and with springs gushing from its sides, the beauty and strategic access to Öresund Sound inspired splendid castles. You can even visit Europe’s most beautiful park on your way to the historic city of Helsingborg.

LENGTH: 14 km / ~4h40 hike

Schedule:

Our meeting point is Lund Central train station (Near Presbyrån, the one accross ICA) at 09.55 am. We take the train to Helsingborg at 10.22, and then the bus to Domsten leaving 10.54 (if we miss it, we take the next one 11.24).

We will walk on the Skåneleden from Domsten and back to Helsingborg following the coast.

Bring your picnic! We will have lunch together about 1 hour after the start of the walk.

To come back to Lund, we will take the train from Helsingborg (3 trains per hour). Those you want can stay and explore the city. Or go for a fika.

PLEASE, NOTE:

1. We have planned our schedule for the event, so COME ON TIME!

2. You are responsible for buying your own transportation tickets.

3. Bring your own lunch, snacks and drinks.

4. Eos Cares and the organizers of this event are not responsible for any injury that can/may occur during the above specified date and time. Attendees are responsible for their own safety as well as their private belongings. You are solely responsible for your partition and discretion.

5. Children should only come if accompanied by their parents.

6. Check the weather in advance, bring a raincoat if you think it is necessary.
