Local Discoveries - Sankt Hans Backar 21.03.2020

Join us in our very local hike, in Lund :) 

Located at the northern edge of Lund, Sankt Hans Backar impresses with a hill/valley landscape. From the highest point, an 86-meter-high hill, you have a wonderful view over the city and the surrounding countryside to Malmö and the Öresund. On top of that, a great opportunity to meet nice people who are also willing to explore Lund and make new friends!  

*Due to the corona situation we would like to avoid public transport for the moment, so that is why we are coming up with very local walks or bike trips in Lund (and Malmo, in the future). For the safety of all the ones who will join, we would like to ask anyone who has symptoms to stay home and let us know that they are not joining so people in the waiting list can join us. Let's keep safe distance and follow the needed precautions so we are all safe and happy to meet in the following trips.

SCHEDULE:

13:00  Meet at Allhelgonakyrkan and walk around 30 minutes until we reach Sankt Hans Backar.  

14:30 Fika time! 

15:30 Leave Sankt Hans Backa 

16:00 Expected time to be back at the meeting point

THINGS-TO-BRING:

- Alcohol hand sanitizer

- A light jacket or raincoat, a cap or what fits the weather (lets hope for the cap!). 

- A good hiking shoes and face towel.

- Blanket to sit on

- Snacks for the fika and bottle of water or any non-alcoholic drink (Please note that we as organizers request this personally for the safety and well-being of all of us).

- If needed (for allergies etc), medicine and emergency kit, which you think can be good to bring with you.

IMPORTANT: Please before registering be sure that you will be able to come, and if you need to cancel, let us know as soon as possible at local.discoveries@eoscares.se. Please stay home if you have any flu symptoms.
