Sony Volunteering Event

Welcome to a full day (or half day) of volunteering at Eos Cares!

Eos Cares is the integration program of the IK EOS Basketball Club. We provide activities that invite everyone in Lund to meet, interact and develop within the areas of Language Exchange, Career & Networking, Recreational Basketball, Family & Kids, Cooking & Baking and Sustainability.

Program for the day:

Morning session (9.00-12.00)

9.00-10.00, Breakfast/Fika and Introduction

Presentation of Eos Cares and today's activities, including preparations for the Language Café.

10.00-12.00, Participation in Language Café "Prata Svenska"

Depending on the language skills of the volunteers, participation can be as a Swedish Facilitator, Swedish Learner or as an English Facilitator.

Lunch (12.00-13.00), Optional

Afternoon session (13.00-15.30), Optional

13.00-15.00, Storytelling and Career-coaching

The volunteers will be matched with participants of Eos Cares, who describe their experiences of arriving to Sweden and present their CV's as a base for a discussion on job market opportunities.

15.00-15.30, Conclusion

Final discussion to share impressions from the day.
