WHY DO WE ASK FOR YOUR PERSONNUMMER?

As a sports association, IK Eos main funding comes from the Swedish Sports Federation (Riksidrottsförbundet) and the municipality of Lund, and is based on the club's reporting of all activities carried out, where a specification of every individual participating is required. In order to ensure that every individual is discernible, these must be presented either directly by personnummer, or through a specifik "Idrotts-ID" that is generated from the personnummer.

IK Eos, through the integration program Eos Cares, is happy to arrange a wide range of social activities that are offered for free to the general public - however as described above, this is enabled through a secondary funding which is based on an accurate registration of the participants. Accordingly, an activity where no data of participants is collected has for the club's balances practically never existed.
