Local Discoveries returns with local walking & biking trips around Lund!

Due to the Corona situation, we had to cancel our planned trips by public transport since March. Now we are happy to announce that we are planning to have local walking & biking trips inside or very close to Lund, starting from 21 June and continuing every other Sunday. You can find the planned schedules later in the article.

As with all of Eos Cares activities, we aim to unite people of different backgrounds and society groups. With Local Discoveries, we are providing opportunities for people in Lund, especially newly arrived, to explore the hidden secrets of the place where we live. In the meantime, create good social bonding in a calm and inspiring outdoor setting.

During the current special circumstance, we are being very careful to provide a nice and safe outdoor trip experience by limiting it to local excursions with a 10-15 people group. Please make sure you read the following rules before registration.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • The current trips are reserved for those who live in Lund or can reach Lund by bike.

  • Please only join the trip if you are symptom-free, and have not been in contact with other people who have symptoms during the past 2 weeks.

  • The group will be limited to max 15 participants, if you are unable to join please remember to unregister as soon as you know so someone else can take your spot.

  • During the trips, please keep distance from each other and take other precautions.

For the coming trips, we are aiming for the following destinations either by foot or by bike (schedule might be adapted). More information and registration to be announced soon at Local Discoveries Page and Facebook Group!

21 June: Sankt Hans Backar (walking trip)

5 July: Rinnebäcksravinen + Höjeå (walking trip)

19 July: Nöbbelövs mosse (walking trip)
